Easy Blog Photo

This week we are starting swimming lessons at the Mosgiel swimming pool at 11:30 every week for three weeks. We get into some groups and then we start our lesson. Swimming is like a school sport because the whole school is doing it. The year 3, 4, 5 and 6s are doing it at the Mosgiel pool and the Year 0, 1 and 2s are going to the school pool across the road from school. We take the bus to the Mosgiel pool and we get off and line up when we go in, we get changed into our togs and put our swimming caps on our heads to stop our hair getting wet.

Today Caitlyn and I were in the same group we did backstroke and freestyle and a sideways swimming.   It was really fun.  We used boards but still it was really enjoyable.   Caitlyn and I did an underwater high five. We were using a platform to stand on it was really easy to reach the ground in the pool.   We had to have one hand on the side of the pool and the other holding the board.

Our instructor's name was Jess.  We were using lane one where the stairs are.  We are still all really good swimmers, no one is a bad swimmers.  Rm 12 is the last class to do swimming and it's better because we can get photos like the one that Mr Peacock (our teacher) took the photo for us Caitlyn is the one in the pink and I have purple googles.
