Pentomino Puzzle Pieces

Room 12 maths class has made a lot of headway in their pentomino learning.  All the kids had to find 12 pentomino shapes and draw them on isometric dot paper before proceeding to use TinkerCAD, a online 3D designing tool, and create their pentominoes in 3D.

Using the 3D printer people printed out one of their pentominoes in either blue, green or purple.  Just to make things even, Mr Peacock divided the class up into three groups, blue, green and purple so there was a complete set of pentominoes for each colour.  So far many people have had the chance to print their pentominoes, when each set is complete, the pentominoes can be fitted together in a puzzle.
