Watch out for the ravine!
My heart raced a million miles per hour as I dashed through the wilderness, branches hitting my face and twigs tugging at my clothes. “Matilda” cried a frantic voice emanating from somewhere I couldn’t see, “Emily” I cried back “where are you”. “Over here, but watch out for the ravine” Emily yelled. “Ravine” I thought just before I broke through a clump of bushes and nearly tumbled down a 10 foot ravine with a roaring stream below. A meter down the wall of the ravine Emily was desperately clinging onto a tree root dangling above the 10 foot drop.

    Abbey what a thrilling adventure story, and I wonder what is going to happen to Matilda and Emily? Having fallen into the ravine it looks like they are in a bit of trouble. I love how you wrote with such emotion and drama; really nice work and good job writing such an exciting story.
