Rainbow write: You have to firstly write your spelling words in pencil and then go over it with three different colours with either felt tips or crayons. See the picture.
Other handed: Write all your spelling words with the hand you usually write with then do it again but this time do it with your wrong hand.
Sign your words: You use sign language to sign out your words for the week. If you want to figure out how we do it check out our class website.
Surround words: You write your words on graph paper with one letter in each box, you two boxes on top of each other for tall letters such as h, and you two boxes down for small letters such as y. Then outline the words using different colours.
Today we also made things called rakau out of magazines. Here is a video of Charlotte and Isabella practising a song using them.
