This is my group's writing, we are writing up an experiment to find out if more or less weight makes the car go faster.

For this part of writing our experiment we have to write a discussion, a discussion about each other's car's test results and what what the results tell us about our hypothesis.

We could also include some ideas about what we would do differently if we repeated the experiment to improve it.  My group would only test our ideas on one car so the tests would be more fair than on all three cars because a different car goes a different speed.

With all of the testing we have been doing we figured out that medium weight goes faster than a heavy or lightweight car.  We think this is because the medium weight car pushes the car down the track but doesn't create much friction at the bottom of the track.  Not enough weight will not get enough potential energy converted into kinetic energy.  Potential energy is stored energy, kinetic energy is the energy of movement.
